Graylog2 v0.92.4 Install Script

This post will only cover a fresh new install of Graylog2.

To install Graylog2 v0.92.4 do the following on a Ubuntu 12.x/13.x/14.x server.

sudo apt-get install git
cd ~
git clone
chmod +x graylog2/
sudo ./graylog2/

    Great script, I just did the install but they graylog version is a version behind. How do you update the version?

    tank you for creating this very good script
    i use this for installing graylog0.9 in debian and it install correctly and work very good
    bud now graylog version 1.1.3 is released and i try to change this script to install graylog 1 and its not work
    if possible make script for installing version 1.1 of graylog and publish it in your site

        I used to work with your Graylog2 Virtual Appliance.
        recently I wanted to move to Graylog 1.1 but I realized that you don’t work on that anymore.
        I’ve tried to use they’re latest Virtual machine appliances version. but the problem is it won’t receive any messages.
        can you guide me what to do ?
        I’ve created an input, just like the one in your version, but it’s not working.
